Happy Easter, Everyone!
Hope you had a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection of our Savior!
Our day began at our Easter service. I sang on the worship team (Ella was ”grooving” the whole time), then the majority of our service was a musical production. It was filled with amazing songs from the Getty’s and Stuart Townend. It also included narration and powerful video imagery. It was neat to be part of that.
After our service, we continued our Easter tradition with Chris’ parents and the Sutters. We went to lunch at Sonny’s
, then went to the Sutters’ house for a relaxing afternoon and evening. We had Anne MacLean as well as Larry Purvis join us this year. We had a great time!
After the boys swam (the water was cold!) and we had snacked on deviled eggs, easter candy and some pies, we had an Easter egg hunt for the boys! It is amazing how much faster the egg hunts are now! It used to take forever for the boys to find the eggs, but now it only lasts a few minutes! Alec even tried to re-hide the eggs! It was pretty funny!
We had a wonderful day! Thank you, Sutter family for your hospitality once again!
By the way, we now have carpet in our bedrooms and we just about have the house back together. I have a few little things to put away, but it looks like we are just about there! I am so grateful! I was so concerned that Ella would come in the midst of the mess and chaos! But the Lord was kind and has allowed us to come to the end of this project! Everything looks great!
