Well, I had planned to post photos yesterday, when she was one week old.  But the time I had set aside to do it, Ella and I fell asleep!  So…I am finally getting them up!

It is so hard to believe that she has been here over a week!  It is going so fast.  My mom was here with me all week.  She took such good care of us.  I am so grateful that she has been able to stay with me after each of my kids were born.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  There is nothing like having Mom take care of you! :-)  While she was here, she re-covered the cushions on my new glider (blue didn’t really match Ella’s room!).  Now with brown cushions, it looks great!  Thank you, MOM for all you did for us this week!  I know that it is a sacrifice to put your life on hold to come and take care of us.  I am so grateful!  I love you!!!

Jeremy, Kristen and the girls came over last night.  Kristen made us dinner.  Jeremy and the big girls hadn’t seen Ella yet.  So we got to spend some time with them.  McKenzie (16 months) was SO excited about the baby!  She just kept looking at her and then pointing to her baby doll!  It was so sweet!

Oh, Medana had her baby last night around 10:30!  I wasn’t able to make it up to the hospital today, so I haven’t seen her yet, but I know that she was 7lbs, 2 oz.  Can’t wait to meet her!

Ella and I were really tired today.  We laid really low all day.  She is such a laid back baby.  I am so grateful!  What a joy she is.  She is already fitting in perfectly!  The boys were with us last night for the first time since she was born.  (They have been to the house some during the days, but have been spending the nights with Gremmie & Dodo).  They just love Ella and can’t stop kissing her!  Especially Alec – he kisses her as much as he kissed my belly when I was pregnant!  It is precious!
