Caleb has been doing SO well with reading lately.  It is obvious that it is “clicking” in his head!  Everywhere we go, he is reading signs, billboards, basically anything he sees!  It is an amazing feeling to watch him grow in this way!  I wondered if we would ever get there – but here we are! 

Anyway, the other night I had sent the boys to bed and I noticed the light was still on.  I walked back and there were my boys, snuggled on the top bunk and Caleb was reading a book to his little brother!  It seemed effortless to Caleb as he read “The Cat in the Hat!”  So now every night, they ask to read books together! 

This is once again a reminder of God’s faithfulness in Caleb’s life.  Even though the doctors felt certain he would develop normally (after his diagnosis of Hydrocephalus and his shunt surgery) there were some things we wouldn’t know for sure until we got there.  We are so grateful for how the Lord has protected him.  He continues to develop just like any other 7 year old!  Thank You, Lord, for Your hand on Caleb’s life!
